Grand Opening for SERVPRO Location Servicing Lantana

SERVPRO hosted a grand opening for a new office to service the Lantana area that included a ribbon cutting. Our owner Miles Early and the whole gang were present to kick off the celebration of a new location, including our special furry greeters, Charlie and Riley.

It was great to meet our new friends and neighbors that came to enjoy food and refreshments and see our new location. We are especially pleased to share the festivities with the Greater Boynton Beach Chamber of Commerce and The Greater Lantana Chamber of Commerce leaders who participated in our ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Miles stated the wise words his grandfather once told him, "To be successful, you must surround yourself with the best people." SERVPRO has the same belief and their business model also promotes success from within. This is done with detailed training and certification in the restoration sciences before technicians start. Once on the job, we strive to stay ahead of the curve by enrolling our technicians in continuing education to learn new technologies and the latest advances for restoration.

We enjoyed giving the attendees to our opening a tour of our location and our newly built state-of-the-art training facility where we recreate situations that our technicians encounter for fire, water and biohazard disasters so they can learn the best practices for mitigation. The continuing education courses are also a valuable tool for the local real estate and insurance companies we form partnerships with to enable their employees to see up close how material damages can affect the value of a property and restoration techniques can lessen the losses from fire, water or other types of disasters.

We also had our green service trucks and vans available for viewing, and they are fully loaded with all the equipment our technicians need for the job, including generators if there is a power outage. Guests were given a chance to explore a fully set up training room and were invited to use the same equipment our technicians use to dry the wall or detect moisture in behind drywall. This was an excellent way for both neighbors and local businesses to learn the extent that restoration efforts can save both property and contents when it is done professionally.
